Spartan South Midlands Football League – Premier Division
Saturday saw us pitch up at a mouth watering match on paper, that saw league leaders Tring Athletic welcome fourth placed Eynesbury Rovers to The Grass Roots Stadium in the Spartan South Midlands Football League – Premier Division.
In what was a tight close encounter, the hosts took the lead on 71 minutes when Jacob Carter’s shot appeared to be deflected into his own net, and six minutes later Max Mitchell’s free kick took a wicked deflection off the wall and flew into the net. In front of a crowd of 101, Tring Athletic stretch their lead to five points at the top of the table.
