Our continuing coverage of Cambridge United WFC’s campaign in the FA Women’s National League Div1 South East saw their bid for back to back wins come up short in blazing sunshine.

The game started off well with an early goal from Kelley Blanchflower, her shot from 35 yards outfoxing the keeper as it dipped just under the crossbar. Ultimately a second half comeback from the hosts side Actonians LFC thwarted Cambridge’s efforts.  The match was played at Rectory Park, which is the Headquarters of the Middlesex FA.
